I had the great pleasure of being able to photograph Illuminaté Steele on Sunday at Amsterdam where she was opening for Julien K. This was my second time photographing her and I have to say in all honesty, the more I see her the more I love what she does.
Illiminaté is a hardworking electronic artist whose sound, in my opinion, is a flavorful mix between dreamy looped beats and pull no punches heaviness that can appeal to anyone with a taste for raw electronic music. I myself am not fluent in the scene but always find her work appealing and attention-grabbing. If you have the opportunity to see her live don't skip it, you just might find your new favorite electronic artist.
