What do you get when you mix, pizza, a rocking live band, donations to a good cause and high heels as the required footware of the evening? Why The Pizza Pump Party of course!
This year the goal was to raise money for The Bridge For Youth, "A crisis shelter that is dedicated to providing youth between the ages 10-17 with a connection between their current realities of homelessness and a brighter, safer, more stable future."
Now I know what you're thinking, "Jake, where did you find size 13 heels on such short notice?" The answer to that is quite simple, I didn't. I'm going to be real honest with you. I don't trust my balance flat footed some days, so I was not about to stumble around like a newborn giraffe, in heels for the first time, with my precious Fuji around my neck.
But I am always up for taking photos, supporting a good cause, eating pizza, and listening to music. Speaking of music, Kasano and The Vybes were fantastic to watch perform. If you have not had the pleasure of seeing them live you are really missing out. I had the pleasure of shooting their set during the PRIDE festival this summer and was thrilled to be able to watch them perform again in a more intimate setting.
I am so happy I got to be apart of another positive community event that supported a good cause.
Thank you for reading and checking out the photos!
If you'd like me to document your event you can contact me here, I'd love to hear from you!
